Dr. Brad Patt is Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Tetrous, Inc., which was spun out of spine allograft company, TheraCell, Inc., in 2019 before TheraCell was sold to ISTO Biologics in 2022.
Brad has over 40 years of experience as a founder-entrepreneur. He has led several enterprises from start-up phase through rapid growth, leading to three successful exits. These include Radiant Detector Technologies, an x-ray detector company sold to Seiko in 2005; DxRay, Inc., an x-ray imaging company sold to Rapiscan Systems, an OSI Company, in 2017; and TheraCell, Inc., a spine allograft company that sold to ISTO Biologics in 2022.
Dr. Patt is currently Co-founder and Chairman of DermOQ, Inc., a fast-growing science based skin-care company with brand Element Eight™; EVO Worldwide, Inc. and its spin-off, Smart Breast Corp™., leaders in molecular breast imaging for breast cancer detection in dense breast patients; and Hyvida Brands™, a functional beverage startup. Brad is a Director of the Shay Emma Hammer Research Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting children suffering from epilepsy and other brain disorders including SCN8A. Brad also founded and is a Director of Thrive Outside the Box, a nonprofit organization that identifies and develops areas of talent in individuals on the autism spectrum.
Dr. Patt is an internationally recognized authority in the field of medical imaging, with over one hundred scientific papers and presentations, several book chapters, and over 40 patents. Brad has held elected positions on the IEEE Nuclear Medicine Instrumentation Steering Committee (NMISC) and the IEEE Radiation Instrumentation Steering Committee (RISC), and he was appointed to the Program Committee of the SPIE Medical applications of Penetrating Radiation, acting as Chairman of the Penetrating Radiation Work Group for 2003 and 2004. He is a consultant to the National Institutes of Health and the recipient of over $15 million in grant awards as Principal Investigator from NIH, The United States Department of Energy and NASA.

Dr. Andy Carter is Co-founder, CTO and Director of Tetrous, Inc., which was spun out of spine allograft company, TheraCell, Inc., in 2019 before TheraCell was sold to ISTO Biologics in 2022.
Andy has more than 30 years leadership experience in the medical device industry and is a recognized expert in orthobiologics, orthopaedics, and biomaterials, with more than 50 US patents.
Dr. Carter is Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of DermOQ, an oxygen skin care company, and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Prince of Wales Clinical School, UNSW, Sydney, Australia.
Dr. Carter’s previous experience includes being the Founder and President of Accent Biomedical, a provider of innovation services; Chief Technology Officer of Anika Therapeutics, a NASDAQ listed developer of hyaluronic acid based products for orthopedics, ophthalmics and aesthetic dermatology; Vice President R&D and General Manager at Spine Wave, Inc., a Connecticut based start-up spine company, where he was responsible for development of injectable nucleus replacement and other motion preserving technologies.
Andy also spent over twenty years at Smith & Nephew, both in the US and UK. As Group Director of R&D at Smith & Nephew Endoscopy in Boston, USA, he led 80+ engineers developing implants, RF and mechanical resection systems, and fluid management systems for arthroscopy and endoscopy applications. He also led the company’s successful efforts to improve the effectiveness of the product development process. As Program Manager for Orthopedics and Endoscopy and Head of Materials Research at Smith & Nephew’s Group Research Center in York, UK, he formulated and led long term research programs in orthopedics, spine and endoscopy, and set up joint ventures in tissue engineering and collaborative research programs with numerous universities.

John Bojanowski is CCO and Director of Tetrous, Inc., leading all commercial activities and operations.
John has more than 30 years of global executive experience in sports medicine and digital health and has led both large, global operations and smaller, early-stage technology companies. He has raised more than $75M in venture capital and private funding, has led multiple successful exits, and has consulted for numerous early-stage companies.
Prior to joining Tetrous, John was President of Clear Arch Health, a division of MobileHelp, acquired by Advocate Aurora Enterprises for $290M; CEO of Lantos Technologies, acquired by a private investor; Executive Vice President of Sales at Scandius BioMedical, acquired by Covidien (now Medtronic); and Vice President of Corporate Sales at US Surgical, acquired by Tyco Healthcare (now Medtronic). Additionally, John served as Vice President of U.S. Sales GM of Global Service Operations for Smith & Nephew.
John currently serves as a mentor for the Life Sciences division of a German Accelerator and is Managing Director of Launch Health Partners, focusing on assisting early, commercial-stage companies build strategies and tactics to establish a presence in their market and position them to scale.

Nikhil N. Verma, MD serves patients as a shoulder, elbow and knee orthopedic surgeon at Midwest Orthopedics at Rush, one of the top academic private practices in the nation. As a physician leader with many interests, Dr. Verma also serves as the Head Team Physician for the Chicago White Sox, a Team Physician for the Chicago Bulls and a Fellowship Director and Chief of the Sports Medicine Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center. He balances his clinical and research efforts, leading various clinical trials evaluating autologous stem cell therapies for various orthopedic ailments including rotator cuff tears, ACL reconstruction, meniscectomy and knee osteoarthritis.
Dr. Verma is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center. His training culminated in a sports medicine and shoulder surgery fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where he received world-class training on the treatment of shoulder and elbow disorders in overhead throwing athletes. He is particularly active in orthopedic research with interests in basic science, biomechanics and clinical outcomes, and has recently received funding for his research from Major League Baseball.
As an innovator, Dr. Verma has worked to develop and license various sports medicine implants and instruments used by orthopedic surgeons across the United States. He is an active consultant for a number of medical device companies and sits on committees for various peer reviewed journals, including the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).

Frank Phillips, MD is a partner at Midwest Orthopaedics and is Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Spine Fellowship Co-Director and Head, Section of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery at Rush University Medical Center. He has pioneered numerous minimally invasive spine procedures and techniques that are now widely used.
Dr. Phillips has held numerous leadership positions and Board positions with the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (SMISS) and SASS. He has served on the Boards of several privately and publicly held spinal companies, including Kyphon (acquired by Medtronic in 2007 for $4 billion). He has also co-founded a number of successful spine and medical technology start-ups.
Dr. Phillips has over 15 patents and has authored more than 150 peer reviewed publications and book chapters. He has participated as principal investigator in numerous studies and FDA trials and regularly teaches and lectures to spine surgeons nationally and internationally on spinal surgery.

Dr. Gunnar Andersson was the Ronald L. DeWald, M.D. Professor and Chairman Emeritus of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center and is a Spine, Back & Neck Surgeon at Midwest Orthopedics at Rush in Chicago, IL. He was chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery from 1994 to 2008.
Dr. Andersson has been a pioneer in spine surgery research and education for more than 30 years, with 17 editorial board appointments, including editor-in-chief of Spinal News International, a deputy editor for Spine, founding editor of Contemporary Spine Surgery and an associate editor of Clinical Biomechanics. He is the author of over 330 original publications, over 160 books and book chapters and over 530 abstracts.
Dr. Andersson is a past president of the Orthopaedic Research Society, the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine, the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians, and the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery.
Dr. Andersson’s activities in connection with commercial companies includes previously being a member of scientific advisory boards at Zimmer, Smith and Nephew, Oratec, Pioneer, Angstrom, St Francis, Bioset, Allosource, Ouroboros, and Spinal Kinetics, and the safety monitoring boards at Spinal Kinetics and ISTO Biologics. Dr. Andersson was also on the Spine Advisory Board to United Healthcare.

Dr. Iwanczyk was awarded the 2002 Merit Award from the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society and has published over 150 scientific papers. He received his Doctorate in Physics from the Electronics Institute of Nuclear Research in Swierk, Poland and his B.S. and M.S. in Electronics from Warsaw Technical University in Warsaw, Poland.

Simon Berry has 25 years of management and business development experience in the healthcare and medical manufacturing market, including a national role for Smith & Nephew Richards, specializing in joint replacement implants, biologics and trauma-based products for Orthopaedic surgery.
Simon was appointed to introduce endoscopic camera technology for the commencement of laparoscopic surgery in Australia and was also a designer and manufacturer of several laparoscopic instruments which have since been sold to major device organizations. In 1997, Mr. Berry worked with Wright Medical Technology to distribute orthopaedic technologies with a key focus on introduction of the first types of biologics for bone grafting, which led to an interest in allograft surgery.
Mr. Berry is a founding member, CEO and Company Director of Australian Biotechnologies. In 2002, he founded Australian Biotechnologies (“Aus Bio”) with several orthopaedic surgeons with a vision to provide allografts and new tissue technologies to Australia. Under his direction, the company grew to be the largest manufacturer of allografts in Australia with partnerships with most Australian Health Departments to process donated human tissue. Simon led the successful sale of AusBio to LifeHealthcare group which in turn was acquired by the EBOS Group in 2022. In 2017, in partnership with the Nevada Donor Network, he expanded the Australian Biotechnologies operation to the USA to form Origin Biologics, which now has an FDA approved manufacturing facility in Las Vegas, NV.

Matt Muscio is a distinguished strategic and operational leader with extensive experience in the medical technology sector. With a career spanning over two decades, Matt has demonstrated expertise in both public and private markets, successfully steering high-performing businesses through significant transformations.
As the former Chief Executive Officer of EBOS Medical Technology, Matt led the division to robust revenue and EBITDA growth, while overseeing critical strategic acquisitions and operational restructures. Prior to this, he was at the helm of the LifeHealthcare group of companies, orchestrating its transition from private equity to a successful acquisition by EBOS Group in 2022.
Mr. Muscio is a key figure in the Australian and Asia Pacific medical device industry and has contributed to policy and industry developments as a board member of the Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA) and through involvement in the Prothesis List Reform Industry Working Group.

David Sonnabend, MD is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Sydney. His doctoral thesis was on the pathology, repair and comparative anatomy of the rotator cuff. He also holds an honours degree in biochemistry, and has published over 70 shoulder-related peer-reviewed scientific papers and 18 book chapters.
Dr. Sonnabend was a founding member of the Australian and New Zealand Orthopaedic Research Society and was the inaugural president of the Shoulder and Elbow Society of Australia (SESA), of which he is an honorary lifetime member. He was “Editor in Australasia” of the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery for nine years. He was a member of the International Board of Shoulder Surgery for sixteen years and a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons ‘Court of Examiners’ for eight years.
He is a corresponding member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) and is a reviewer for various journals including the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, the Journal of Orthopaedic Science, the American Journal of Sports Medicine, the Journal of Shoulder & Elbow Surgery and the Shoulder & Elbow Journal. He has been a visiting professor at various universities, including George Washington University (Washington DC, USA) and the Hebrew University (Jerusalem, Israel). He has been an invited guest lecturer at numerous meetings including the Japanese, New Zealand, Indonesian and South African Orthopaedic Associations and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. In 2004 he was the Codman lecturer at the 9th International Conference on Surgery of the Shoulder, in Washington DC. In 2007, he received the Australian Orthopaedic Association award for contributions to Orthopaedic Research, and in 2011 the Australian Orthopaedic Association award for orthopaedic education. In 2013 he received the L.O. Betts Medal for outstanding contribution to Australian Orthopaedics. He was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2018.
Dr. Sonnabend has trained more than sixty specialist shoulder surgeons from all continents except Antarctica, and he continues to participate in a post specialization Fellowship programme in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. He is involved in ongoing research into osteoarthritis and tendon healing in the Raymond Purves Research Laboratories (Royal North Shore Hospital).

He is the author of over 330 original publications, over 160 books and book chapters and over 530 abstracts.
Dr. Andersson is a past president of the Orthopaedic Research Society, the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine and the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians and is currently President of the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery.
Dr. Andersson’s activities in connection with commercial companies includes previously being a member of scientific advisory boards at Zimmer, Smith and Nephew, Oratec, Pioneer, Angstrom, St Francis, and Bioset. He is currently on the scientific advisory boards at Allosource, Ouroboros, and Spinal Kinetics, and is a member of the safety monitoring boards at Spinal Kinetics and ISTO. Dr. Andersson is also on the Spine Advisory board to United Healthcare.

Bill Walsh, PhD is a Professor in the Prince of Wales Clinical School, Division of Surgery at University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia and the Founder and Director of Surgical & Orthopaedic Research Laboratories (SORL), located on the Prince of Wales Hospital campus.
Prof. Walsh’s research interests lie at the interface between implanted materials and the connective tissues of the body. He has nearly 500 peer reviewed journal publications, book chapters and patents. Ivan Popoff, MD is a Shoulder, Knee and Elbow Surgeon with a special interest in arthroscopic and open soft tissue reconstruction surgery and arthroplasty. He completed the Orthopaedic Training Programme in Sydney in 2002, a Fellowship in Knee Surgery with Dr Craig Waller in Sydney in 2002, and a Fellowship in Knee and Shoulder Surgery, Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine (ISAKOS accredited) with Professor Bill Stanish at Dalhousie University, Halifax Canada in 2003.

Doron Sher is a knee, shoulder and elbow surgeon specialist. He holds a medical degree from the University of New South Wales and a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering. His research thesis was awarded the Evelyn Hamilton Memorial prize from the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Dr. Sher’s orthopaedic training was completed on the Sydney Orthopaedic Training Scheme. He completed Fellowships in elbow surgery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, upper limb surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, NY, and sports medicine knee and shoulder surgery at Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Centre, London, Ontario. He is the former Head of the Department of Orthopaedics at Concord Repatriation General Hospital and was the secretary and treasurer of the Shoulder and Elbow Society of Australia (SESA) from 2019-2023.
He is currently the Fellowship Supervisor for the Prince of Wales and Concord Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship and continues to work in both the public and private sectors. He also travels regularly to third world countries to help teach the local surgeons through Orthopaedic Outreach.
Dr Sher is dedicated to the concept of “Life Long Learning and Research” which allows him to remain at the leading edge of patient care and rehabilitation. His passion for helping patients avoid unnecessary surgery has led to his involvement in establishing groundbreaking metabolic, arthritis, weight loss and sports performance clinics.

Dave is a Co-founder of Innotek Medical Products, Inc., a Midwest multistate distributorship based in Oak Brook, IL. In the past 35 years, Innotek Medical has distributed various products in the fields of sports medicine, total joints, spine, and biologics. Mr. Salb previously served as Chief Commercialization Officer for TheraCell, Inc., a regenerative medicine company, until it was sold to Isto Biologics in 2022.
Dave currently works with Tetrous, Inc. in all aspects of Sales Operations.
Curt Cooper
Curt is an independent owner, operator and entrepreneur specializing in musculoskeletal medical device distribution. He previously served as the commercial lead for TheraCell, Inc., a regenerative medicine company, until it was sold to ISTO Biologics in 2022. Mr. Cooper is a Co-founder of Innotek Medical Products, Inc., a Midwest multistate distributorship based in Oak Brook, IL. and he currently leads commercial operations for Tetrous, Inc.
Curt holds an MBA degree from DePaul University.
Dennis McLoughlin
Dennis has served in multiple roles of expanding responsibility at Pacira BioSciences as Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Customer Officer, SVP Alliance Management and additional sales roles from 2013-2024. He continues to serve as a Senior Advisor to Pacira BioSciences. Prior to joining Pacira, he was President of Remedy Group, a healthcare outsourcing and solutions company, from 2003-2014, serving such clients as Novartis Diagnostics, Pfizer, and MedImmune. Prior to that, he was with Organon from 2001-2003 and Glaxosmithkline from 1990-2001. He is currently a Board Member for Oligo Medic, serves in multiple Advisory Board positions, and is active in industry consulting. Mr. McLoughlin holds a B.S. in Marketing and Management from Saint Joseph’s University.
Personally, he has held numerous positions in youth sports for over 30 years, serving as 2-time President of South Jersey Lacrosse and as Township Sports Director. Dennis has 4 children, 2 grandchildren and resides in Bradenton, FL.
